Good features, some setup issues

I purchased the Develop Plan CRM for my small business. The sales pipeline management and deal tracking features are quite robust and have helped us visualize our sales process much better. The email integration worked well after a bit of tinkering. What I didn't love was the initial setup; it took a bit more time than I expected to get everything configured perfectly, especially custom fields. Customer support was helpful once I reached out, but I wish the onboarding process was a little smoother. Overall, it's a solid tool for the price, offering good value.

Easy to use, works well.

Got the Start Plan. It helps track leads. Interface is clean. Mobile app is functional. No complaints. Did exactly what I needed.

Consistent, reliable service

I've been a Pipelinedeals customer for over two years now, always with the Grow Plan. This latest renewal was as smooth as ever. I know what to expect – reliable sales automation and excellent reporting and analytics. The mobile app has stayed consistent, which is great, no weird updates breaking things. It integrates well with our other tools. They've always been solid, and that's why I keep coming back instead of switching to something new. No surprises, just consistent performance, which is exactly what I need for my business.

Great value on annual plan

I was looking for a CRM that wouldn't break the bank. I opted for the Develop Plan and paid annually; the 20% off annual plans really caught my eye. It made a big difference in the total cost. The features like deal tracking and contact management are exactly what we needed, and for the price, it feels like a really solid investment. I appreciate that they offer that discount up front. It felt like I got a premium service without the premium price tag. Definitely worth the purchase for our budget.

Thinking of signing up for Pipelinedeals, but wondering if there's a good time to get a discount? Like, do they do Black Friday sales or something?

J Jennifer 2 weeks ago
Yeah, I remember seeing something around November last year. They definitely have seasonal offers, especially near year-end or sometimes in January for new year pushes.

They usually give a discount if you pay for a whole year upfront. That's probably the most consistent way to save, like 10-20% off. Keep an eye out for those seasonal ones though, I've seen them pop up.

How does this compare to Pipedrive? I've been looking at both and they seem pretty similar. Anything stand out about Pipelinedeals?

L Linda Nguyen 1 month ago
Pipelinedeals feels a bit more geared towards simplicity for smaller teams, I think. Pipedrive is great too, but I found Pipelinedeals a little easier to get started with for basic sales tracking.

Both are solid. Pipelinedeals is definitely strong on the sales pipeline visualization. Pipedrive has some advanced features but might be overkill if you just need good lead and deal management without all the bells and whistles.

Thinking of moving all our contacts over, is it easy to import data? We have a ton of stuff in spreadsheets.

N Nick Adams 1 month ago
From my experience, the data import tools are pretty straightforward. I moved a bunch of contacts from a CSV and it worked well.

They offer data import services too, if you have a really complex setup. But for basic spreadsheet imports, their built-in tools are usually enough. Just make sure your columns are mapped correctly.

Does anyone know if they offer monthly billing or is it only annual? My budget is a bit tight right now.

R Richard N. 4 days ago
They definitely have monthly options, but it's usually cheaper if you commit to the annual plan. The monthly is a bit more flexible if you're not sure yet.

Yeah, you can pay monthly. It's just that the annual plan gives you a better rate overall, like a 10-20% savings usually.

What's the deal with canceling if it doesn't work out? Is it a pain?

N Nathan P. 12 hours ago
Nah, it was pretty easy for me. Just went into the account settings and there was an option to cancel. No big drama or calls needed.

I canceled a free trial once and it was straightforward. Didn't even have to talk to anyone, just a few clicks in the settings menu. As long as you cancel before your next billing cycle, you're good.
